Where Is The Love?

My Brothers & Sisters,

Stop and think for one moment at what point today did the love in your heart pour onto someone day: Was it on your way to work, at work or school, on the way home, or even better, before you left. Next, how did you demonstrate that love? Was it through a kind word, a good deed, or simply yet powerfully, a warm smile?

I know, I know, I'm giving you a great deal to think about at the end of the day. But to make it through the challenges of life standing tall, we must tap into and hold onto the power of unconditional love. Love is our life line, Creator and Sustainer as God Himself is Love.

Reach out to Him today by having a normal conversation with the one who loves you unlike anyone else can. Have a little talk with Jesus and He'll make it all better. You'll feel His love and enjoy His presence.

Then, and only then, will you be in a position to cause the same loving effect on someone else.

Having the Heart of God

You are the Sons and Daughters of the one and only God of heaven and earth – a Special Treasure in His kingdom! Praise Him, if for nothing else today, your mere existence which is a miracle and a blessing. Your heavenly Father created you with a great purpose and designed you with an awesome plan in mind: His purposed intention is to use you mightily in the earth to spread His love, compassion, grace and mercy to all who will allow you to embrace them with it. In the meantime, He will continuously refill your heart and soul with the same and so much more. “Give and it shall be given unto you…” (Luke 2:38).

Your Creator God wants to set . . . Our Hearts On Fire!!!

Welcome He, the Holy Spirit, in right now to position the torch of your life and light the flame of your heart. Now, expectantly await a personal revival to break out all around you; longingly desire the burning flames of God’s love to consume you. Then allow it to overflow onto everything and everyone else around you from the depths of your heart and the bowels of your soul.

Peace is what the world needs; joy is what everyone is looking for; yet, love is what each of us deeply desires। We were born to love and be loved! Our heavenly Father purposefully created us with this innate void that, by the way, can only be filled first through Him. You and I must master the passionately romantic in-love relationship with our Lord before we can healthily and correctly enter one with any one else. In fact, it is the “practice run” with Him that really teaches us how to love one another: No man can teach you how to love them—not your spouse, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your parents, your children or anyone else—only God can provide the spiritually correct and emotionally satisfying life-long lesson on how to give and receive love the way He designed it to be shared and received.

The lesson begins with a desire to learn. Therefore, let us ask God today to make His desire our desire by setting our hearts on fire for His kind of unconditional love. Let go of the painful past, release all current hurts and lay everything else at the feet of your Savior and concentrate on opening yourself up in totality to receive the love of God in everyway He wills to pour it into you. He is the potter, you are the clay – let Him have His way in designing you into the most loving human being that has walked the face of the earth. And by doing so, you will change your life for the good and for doing so, you will impact the lives of others in a non-judgmental but loving way.

Remember you are deeply loved, never alone and more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus our Lord! Fall in love with Him all over again by asking, "Father God, in Jesus' Name, please set my heart on fire for You, for self, and for others."

Adorning & Empowering Yourself

There is one thing for sure concerning you that no man, no circumstance, or no past lifestyle or label can change: You are a good creation by our heavenly Father who is made in His image and likeness. In "break down" terms: "You, my Sister, are absolutely gorgeous inside and out and you were born on purpose for a unique purpose!" Your divine beauty especially reigns when you walk in love and power as freely bestowed upon you from your God.

We are bombarded by marketing ads to adorn ourselves on the outside, but rarely encouraged to allow God to beautify us on the inside. Well, the buck stops here! As a native New Yorker who adores fashion and a Daughter of Christ who loves her Lord, I'll be sharing my thoughts on the power of godly love, the presence of radiant image and the profitability of leadership in entrepreneurship. Down through the years, God has prospered me in His Word, wisdom and will which has helped me through the rough times I've faced as a woman and single-mother in corporate America, the church and society-at-large. It is my hope that my wisdom and experience will help you to achieve and accomplish in every area of you life--particularly spiritually and financially.

God has endowed you and I with gifts and talents. It is He that giveth a person to the power to obtain wealth. Now, it's up to us to identify, walk in, and demonstrate those gifts and talents to glorify God and impact the world powerfully. We can't be a blessing to others until we ourselves are blessed!
